No-Show Policy

No-Show Definition

A “no show” occurs when a student does not attend their scheduled course and fails to notify us by phone or email prior to the course commencement time.

Policy Overview

When a student does not attend and provides no prior communication, the booking is deemed to have commenced. Trainer time, venue allocation, course preparation, and administrative resources have already been allocated to the student’s place in the class.

For this reason, the booking is forfeited, and the student is required to pay the full course fee to rebook into a future session.

Rebooking Fees Do Not Apply to No-Shows

Our reduced rebooking fees only apply when notice is given before the class starts:

  • HLTAID009 Provide CPR: $15 rebooking fee

  • HLTAID011: $25 rebooking fee

  • HLTAID012 Provide First Aid: $30 rebooking fee

These discounted rebooking fees do not apply when a student fails to attend with no prior notice.

No-Show Outcome

If a student is a no show:

  • The original booking and payment are forfeited.

  • The student must pay the full course fee again to attend another class.

  • Non-attendance is recorded in the student profile as per Allens Training policy.

Extenuating Circumstances

Consideration may be given to students who can provide genuine evidence of exceptional circumstances (e.g., medical emergency, immediate family crisis).
Approval of such cases is at the discretion of All Ages First Aid Training management.
