Public Course Rebooking & No-Show Policy

All Ages First Aid Training

All Ages First Aid Training (AAFT) delivers nationally recognised training on behalf of Allens Training Pty Ltd (RTO 90909).

For individual public course enrolments, cancellation and refund eligibility is governed by the Allens Training Pty Ltd (RTO 90909) Fees, Payments and Refunds Policy. this is the allens. To view this policy please CLICK HERE.

The conditions below apply specifically to rebooking and non-attendance.

1. Rebooking Requests

All transfer or rebooking requests must be submitted in writing prior to the scheduled course commencement time.

Rebookings are subject to availability and must occur within three (3) months of the original course date unless otherwise approved.

A maximum of two rebookings are permitted per enrolment.

2. Rebooking Fees

Where a student elects to transfer to another course date:

a) Minimum 48 Hours’ Notice

If at least 48 hours’ notice is provided, a $25.00 rebooking administration fee applies.

b) 24 Hours’ Notice or Less

If 24 hours’ notice or less is provided — including same-day cancellation — a rebooking fee equal to 50% of the original course fee must be paid prior to securing a new booking date.

All rebooking fees must be paid in full before a transfer is confirmed.

Payment of a rebooking fee does not alter refund eligibility under the RTO policy.

3. No-Show Definition

A “No-Show” occurs where a student fails to attend their scheduled course and does not provide notice prior to the published commencement time.

Where a student is recorded as a No-Show:

  • The enrolment is considered to have commenced.

  • Trainer time, venue allocation, equipment preparation and administrative resources have already been committed.

  • Non-attendance is recorded within the student management system in accordance with RTO requirements. this is the allens

4. No-Show Outcome

Where a student is a No-Show:

  • The original booking is treated in accordance with the applicable RTO refund policy. this is the allens

  • If the student is not eligible for a refund under the RTO policy, a new enrolment at the full current course fee is required to attend a future session.

  • No automatic transfer applies.

5. Extenuating Circumstances

Students impacted by genuine exceptional circumstances (e.g. medical emergency, immediate family crisis, serious incident beyond their control) may apply in writing with supporting evidence.

Such applications will be assessed in accordance with the RTO’s extenuating circumstances provisions. this is the allens

Approval is discretionary and determined on a case-by-case basis..

CPR to First Aid Upgrade Policy

Students who initially enrol in the HLTAID009 Provide CPR and later decide to complete the full HLTAID011 Provide First Aid course or HLTAID012 Provide First Aid in an education and care setting may request an upgrade, subject to the following conditions:

1. Upgrade Requested More Than 48 Hours Prior to Course Commencement

Where the upgrade is requested at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled First Aid session, the student is required to pay:

  • The difference between the HLTAID009 Provide CPR course fee and the current HLTAID011 Provide First Aid course or HLTAID012 Provide First Aid in an education and care setting course fee (“the gap”).

No additional administration fee applies in this circumstance.

2. Upgrade Requested Within 24 Hours of Course Commencement

Where the upgrade is requested within 24 hours of the scheduled First Aid session, the student must pay:

  • The difference between the HLTAID009 Provide CPR course fee and the HLTAID011 Provide First Aid course or HLTAID012 Provide First Aid in an education and care setting course fee; and

  • A $25.00 administration fee to process the course variation.

3. Upgrade After Completion of CPR

Where a student has already completed and been issued certification for the HLTAID009 Provide CPR course and subsequently wishes to enrol in the full Provide First Aid course:

  • The request is treated as a new enrolment;

  • The full current Provide First Aid course fee applies;

  • Previously completed HLTAID009 Provide CPR may be credited where valid and within currency requirements.

All upgrade requests are subject to course availability and completion of any required pre-course learning.

Course Downgrade Policy (Provide First Aid to CPR)

Where a student enrolled in Provide First Aid requests to downgrade to a CPR course:

1. More Than 48 Hours Prior to Course Commencement

The student may request a course variation. The difference between the Provide First Aid fee and the CPR fee will be refunded less a $25.00 administration fee.

2. Within 24 Hours of Course Commencement

Downgrades may be permitted; however, no refund of the fee difference will be provided.

3. After Course Commencement

Once the course has commenced, downgrades are not available. The original course fee remains applicable.
